In San Francisco, you can find a pickleball game any day of the week. Here are the details:

Outdoor Open Play:

Louis Sutter Playground in McLaren Park
Courts: 6 permanent pickleball courts
Hours: Daylight
Erne Scoop: There’s a lively, welcoming community that plays on the weekends from 8am to noon. Great for players of any level. These courts get windy in the afternoon, so mornings are always best. Don’t leave anything in your car here (the area is unfortunately known for break-ins).

Presidio Wall Playground

Courts: Tennis courts with 6 painted pickleball court lines and portable nets.
Hours: Daily 10:30am-1:30pm
Erne Scoop: Another welcoming SF pickleball community for beginner-intermediate players. These courts have the best views in the city. If you go regularly, please help setup and takedown the nets!

Parkside Square

Courts: Multi-lined tennis courts with portable pickleball nets.
Hours: Daily 12pm-3pm
Erne Scoop: Great for players of all levels. If you go regularly, please help setup and takedown the nets!

Outdoor Reservation Play:

Goldman Tennis Center in Golden Gate Park
Courts: 5 permanent courts (with lights!)
Hours: 8am-10pm

Erne Scoop: These courts are brand new and beautiful, but tough to reserve. Reservations go online eight days in advance at 12 noon. Make sure you have an online account in advance. SF residents get discounted rates and scheduling preference.

Courts: 6 multi-lined tennis courts, BYON (bring-your-own-net)
Hours: Daylight

Erne Scoop: Reservations can be made online 7 days in advance at 8am. Rossi also has first-come, first-serve play!

Upper Noe
Courts: 2 multi-lined tennis courts, BYON (bring-your-own-net)
